I, Venita Gomes by profession was a Teacher and later in 2011 took over as a Librarian in Convent of Jesus and Mary High School, Palle, Naigaon (W).
I love being a Librarian as there's lots to explore each day. Students of all Standards and Teachers are most welcome to the Library as they enjoy the surrounding of the Library.
I enjoy narrating stories to the Primary Section and doing a little jig while storytelling. The High School and Secondary too enjoy coming to the Library as I personally choose the books for them according to their age group.
MissionMy mission is to satisfy the information needs they want and also wanted but they didn’t know it existed.
VissionMy vision is to empower Students and Teachers to become... Critical Thinkers, Enthusiastic Readers and Skilful Researchers.
